NetSetGo
The Metro Jets NetSetGO program provides children with a positive introduction to netball, incorporating skills, activities, music, dance and modified matches, all delivered in a fun and safe environment. The NSG 8 week program is coordinated by Christine Dunbar, an accredited Club Coach who ensures all participants have an enjoyable experience, whilst developing fundamental life skills. Our newest little members received an extra special treat, joined for their first session by NetSetGO Ambassador Fiona Themann, who plays GD/GK for the Adelaide Thunderbirds. What a fantastic way to begin your introduction to netball. Go Jets!!
Umpiring
It is great to see such a supportive, emerging Metro Jets community out on Saturdays supporting our players and fellow umpires. We have had new umpires who did a fabulous job officiating their first games for Jets on Saturdays: Isabelle Grinham, Imogen Graham, Caitlin Eichner, Zoe Desyllas, Jasper Cormack, Laura Duncan, Jessica Crowe, Alexia Desyllas and Julia Cupkovic. Thank you to all the mentors, and existing Jets umpires. Let’s keep the good work up!
If you’re interested in umpiring and supporting our Club, we would love to have you on board. Metro Jets are required to provide an umpire for every game that we participate in, so we need your help. Please contact our Umpiring Coordinator, Caitlin North at metrojetsumpiring@gmail.com if you have any questions, or would like to know more about the process and support offered within our Umpiring Program.
